The benefits of the Thermal Wall Technology (TWT) are enhanced by active and passive solar energy and assists in achieving net-zero energy costs, independence and the promotion of earth ethics; however, most of the benefits of the TWT remain active to a substantial degree even in the absence of solar systems. The thermal mass properties of the structure helps moderate the extreme temperature swings and thus the extreme temperature bills. The TWT reduces energy usage for heat pumps between 39-60%. Ground-source heat pumps, gas/electric water heater/boilers or water-jacket wood stoves efficiencies will also be improved (modeling underway). The fact that you are able to deliver energy to the thermal walls at 65 to 75˚F temperatures increases the efficiencies of all the aforementioned systems.
